Stepper motor power amplifier EM542S – Digital power stage for precise stepper motor control
The EM542S stepper motor power amplifier is a high-quality digital control for 2-phase stepper motors and is ideal for CNC milling, laser systems, 3D printers, automation technology and positioning systems. Thanks to modern digital signal processing and intelligent current control, the EM542S ensures a special quiet engine running, high precision and reduced vibrations.
The output stage supports supply voltages of 20 to 50 volts DC and delivers a motor current of 0.5 to 4.2 amps, making them optimal for many NEMA 17, NEMA 23 and smaller NEMA 24 stepper motors is suitable. Through the integrated Anti-resonance technology Disturbing vibrations are minimized, resulting in quieter operation and improved positioning accuracy.
About practical DIP switch Current strength and microstep resolution can be easily adjusted. The EM542S supports numerous step resolutions for particularly fine movements and precise positioning. In addition, the automatic current reduction reduces engine heating when the vehicle is at a standstill and saves energy.
The control takes place via standardized Step/Dir signals (PUL/DIR) and is compatible with many common CNC controls such as Mach3, Mach4, LinuxCNC, PlanetCNC, DDCSV and GRBL-based systems.
