Due to popular demand, the successful model is now also available with the extremely powerful 1.4kW motor.
The manual tool changing system with digital control option - extremely robust and optimized for all types of milling work - particularly suitable for use on portal milling machines or CNC routers.
The FME-U DI offers a completely new concept. For the first time, spindle bearings are used in a stable, robust aluminum body for optimal precision and minimal wear.
Changing cutters, etc. is possible in seconds and without tools - a revolution.
DI stands for direct control via the controller. The speed required for use can be selected or programmed directly there. This reduces noise; the duty cycle can be increased; wear and tear is reduced.
The motor is attached directly and torsion-resistant to the portal via 4 threaded connections.
Motor, bearings, seals are designed for use with longer duty cycles.
Full-wave control electronics ensure the same speed even during tough milling work. Speed preselection and soft start are a given at AMB.
Motor is fully insulated and offers maximum safety against external influences.
The electronics are perfectly protected against dust and external influences thanks to complete potting - in comparison, other providers often work with unprotected electronics with a shorter service life.
Electronic thermal overload protection protects against overheating.
Original carbon brushes made in Germany – with integrated switch-off. This prevents the collector from being damaged if the carbon is worn out. Additional silicone cushions between the carbon and the pressure spring ensure a long service life by dampening vibrations.

The original Kress power cable module is technically unrivaled and makes it possible to change devices directly on the machine. The power supply does not need to be changed at the source (socket). It couldn't be easier. This means that several devices can be supplied alternately with just “one” cable.
