The DYNACUT MVD minimum quantity lubrication system is a system that works according to the Venturi principle, i.e. supplied compressed air atomizes thin lubricant in the nozzle into cooling mist. The amount of compressed air and coolant can be sensitively adjusted independently of each other to the respective requirements using needle valves. The system works from an air pressure of 2 bar. At higher pressures of up to 6 bar, the coolant is atomized more finely. One advantage of this system is that the tool is cooled using cooling mist and compressed air.
Our system has the following advantages over other systems:
1. The coolant is switched on and off manually using a ball valve.
2. The amount of compressed air and coolant can be adjusted and fixed sensitively and independently of each other using needle valves. There is no need for complicated adjustment by turning the nozzle head as with other models.
3. No dripping after the coolant valve is blocked.
4. No check valve to hinder the Venturi effect.
5. The coolant container can be placed anywhere above the nozzle. The ball valve prevents the container from emptying.
6. This system can also be used as an air nozzle despite the coolant tank being connected to blow out chips or simply cool air by just opening the air valve.
For users who do not want to turn off the air supply via the needle valve, we have included a hand valve. This hand valve can be mounted anywhere on the machine. The air supply is then directed via this valve. This has the advantage that the needle valve for air does not have to be readjusted after switching on, making it easier to use.
The system is delivered ready to install and consists of:
1. Nozzle with flexible joint hose.
2. Mixture control unit with ball valve for coolant.
3. Approx. 2m intake hose with intake filter.
4. Approx. 2m pressure hose with threaded connection in G1/8.
5. Hand valve for air to be mounted on the machine.
